The MMMob Approach

We asked two of our Jozi-based MMMobsters if they would like to spend a few days in Maputo, on the beach, soaking up the sun and culture. I mean, who wouldn’t… The Videographer and Creative Producer, road tripped to the location for the shoot.

We were asked to use local models as our onscreen couple, and captured natural footage of the two enjoying the hotel and its surroundings – strolls on the beach, romantic lunches, shopping and sightseeing. To show just how close the Southern Sun was to the water, we made use of a drone. The same videographer, experienced in capturing drone footage, put on his pilot hat to capture the Indian Ocean lapping just in front of the hotel.

The result was a collection of content which captured the feel and facilities of Southern Sun Maputo, and made people want to pack a bag and beach.
